DIAMOND AND GEM-SET PEACOCK BROOCH Circa 1890.

A belle époque freshwater natural pearl, ruby, and diamond brooch, circa 1905. The circular-cut ruby and single-cut diamond fluttering ribbon bow surmount suspending a large freshwater baroque pearl drop with rose-cut diamond cap, within a millegrain-set single-cut diamond wreath surround, accented by calibré-cut ruby ribbons.

An enamel, pearl and gem-set Holbeinesque brooch, circa 1870 The oval cartouche centrally collet-set with a foiled cushion-shaped sapphire, in a scalloped rose-cut diamond surround, accented at the cardinal points by 4.6mm-4.8mm pearls, to a frame decorated with blue, green, red, black and white guilloché enamel, with rectangular-cut rubies and cushion-shaped diamonds, all in closed-back settings.

Two early 19th century gem-set brooches 1st: The oval mixed-cut pink topaz within a cannetille surround decorated with similarly cut stones within foiled closed-back settings, 2nd: The stylised flowerhead with graduated pear-shaped citrine and amethyst petals, to a cabochon turquoise centre, and beaded decoration, glazed compartment to the reverse
